BAKOTECH delivers both. That is why, for the second consecutive year, we have hosted Partner Summit—a series of regional events designed to strengthen the partner community, foster knowledge sharing, and uncover new business opportunities across local markets.
In 2026, BAKOTECH organized Partner Summits in Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan—three markets experiencing rapid digital transformation and growing demand for advanced IT and cybersecurity solutions. Together, participants explored the emerging opportunities for channel partners across the Caucasus and Central Asia. In 2025, a similar summit brought together BAKOTECH partners in Ukraine.
Eugene Badakh, CEO at BAKOTECH
“For us, Partner Summits are much more than a series of regional events. They are an opportunity to bring together a community of partners we work with every day to advance the cybersecurity market and accelerate digital transformation.
Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan are all undergoing an exceptionally dynamic phase of digitalization. That is why our goal extends beyond showcasing new technologies. We also strive to create a platform where partners can exchange experiences, discuss emerging trends, and identify new opportunities for business growth.
Our mission is to help partners grow alongside their markets, gain access to the world’s leading technologies, and successfully apply them to strengthen cybersecurity and support their customers’ digital transformation initiatives.”
This year’s Partner Summit series focused on the issues that have the greatest impact on partner business growth today: sales forecasting, market intelligence, the value-added distribution model, technical expertise development, joint marketing initiatives, and emerging technology trends.
Participants not only discovered new solutions but also gained practical insights into how technological expertise can be transformed into real business opportunities for their companies.
Oleksii Yasynskyi, Director of the B4 Department, BAKOTECH
“The Partner Summit gives us valuable insight into how market demands are evolving across different countries, while helping our partners better understand the trends already shaping demand for cybersecurity solutions.
Artificial intelligence is steadily becoming a national priority throughout the region. Government digitalization initiatives continue to accelerate, while cyber resilience and critical infrastructure protection are moving higher on the strategic agenda. For example, Azerbaijan is implementing a large-scale digital transformation program for government services, including its transition to the Government Cloud. Kazakhstan continues to strengthen the protection of critical infrastructure while investing heavily in AI initiatives. Uzbekistan is actively developing its AI ecosystem and improving organizations’ cybersecurity maturity. For us, these are more than market trends—they are clear indicators of the technologies and competencies that will be in highest demand over the next several years.
Our objective is to ensure that every partner leaves not only with knowledge about new technologies but also with a practical understanding of which solutions offer the greatest potential in their local market, how to position them effectively, and how to identify new opportunities for business growth.”
BAKOTECH partner network: A community that helps partners grow
Over the years, BAKOTECH has built one of the region’s largest partner ecosystems, bringing together more than 1,000 partner companies across multiple countries. For us, this network is much more than a distribution channel—it is a professional community where knowledge, experience, and expertise create new opportunities for business growth.
BAKOTECH continuously invests in partner development. Technical training, certification programs, engineering support, solution design assistance, collaborative project delivery, marketing enablement, and knowledge sharing are all integral parts of our partnership model.
Eugene Badakh, CEO at BAKOTECH
“One of our core strengths has always been our ability to combine world-class technologies with deep local market expertise.
Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan each have their own pace of development, regulatory environment, and level of digital maturity. That is why we help partners do more than simply gain access to technologies. We help them successfully adapt those technologies to local business realities.
We view our partner network as a long-term community where every partner’s success strengthens the entire ecosystem. Together, we are building a network of professionals who are driving the future of cybersecurity and digital technologies across the region.”
BAKOTECH partners gain access to not only the technologies of more than 30 leading global vendors, but also to the practical expertise accumulated through projects across multiple industries and countries. This has become especially important in today’s rapidly evolving digital landscape, where customers increasingly expect strategic consulting and business guidance—not simply technology procurement.
Yevgen Goncharenko, Director of the B2 Department, BAKOTECH
“To grow, it is essential to understand which areas are developing fastest, what challenges customers face, and where new opportunities for growth are emerging.
That is why we help our partners not only work with their current portfolio of solutions, but also explore new markets, technology areas, and customer segments.
We strive to be more than just a distributor to our partners—we aim to be a team that helps them scale their businesses, develop new capabilities, and identify growth opportunities.”
Partner community development, practical experience exchange, and the search for new growth opportunities were among the key themes of the 2026 Partner Summits, which this year brought together BAKOTECH partners in Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan.
Five key insights from Partner Summit 2026: What drives partner business growth across the Caucasus and Central Asia
While each market has its own unique characteristics, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan are moving in the same strategic direction: accelerating digital transformation, increasing cybersecurity investments, and expanding the role of artificial intelligence across both business and government.
Based on discussions at the 2026 Partner Summit, we identified five key trends reshaping technology demand and creating new opportunities for channel partners.
1. Artificial intelligence is evolving from an emerging technology into a strategic initiative
Kazakhstan has already identified AI as one of its national development priorities, with more than half of business executives directly involved in AI-related investment decisions. In Uzbekistan, AI has become a central pillar of the country’s Digital Strategy 2030, supported by significant government investment in education and workforce development.
For channel partners, this means growing demand not only for AI solutions themselves, but also for the infrastructure, cybersecurity, identity management, and data protection technologies required to support AI adoption securely.
Eugene Badakh, CEO at BAKOTECH
“Across Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan, we are seeing a clear transition towards more mature digital economies.
Governments continue to invest in AI initiatives, expand digital transformation programs, strengthen cyber resilience requirements, and increase demand for integrated cybersecurity platforms.
Equally important, our partners share this vision of where the market is heading. That alignment enables us to plan technology development more effectively and create new business opportunities together.”
2. Cloud transformation in the public sector is accelerating
Azerbaijan, for example, has launched an ambitious Digital Development Program for 2026–2028 that includes expanding digital public services, integrating artificial intelligence, and migrating government agencies to a Government Cloud architecture.
These initiatives are driving demand for cloud security, identity and access management, regulatory compliance, and secure digital infrastructure solutions. For partners, this represents significant opportunities to expand their Cloud Security, Data Protection, and Professional Services practices.
3. Critical infrastructure protection is becoming a top priority
As governments continue to digitalize essential services—including energy, transportation, telecommunications, and public administration—cyber resilience has become a strategic imperative.
Kazakhstan has already classified classified 500 facilities as critical infrastructure, while Azerbaijan continues to see a significant share of cyber incidents targeting strategically important organizations.
These developments are increasing demand for solutions such as network security, threat detection and monitoring, exposure management, OT security, and Security Operations Centers (SOC). For partners, protecting critical infrastructure is becoming one of the fastest-growing areas of opportunity.
4. Organizations are moving towards more mature cybersecurity strategies
Companies are increasingly shifting away from purchasing standalone security products. Instead, they are looking for comprehensive cybersecurity platforms that combine risk management, security monitoring, incident response automation, vulnerability management, and regulatory compliance into a unified approach.
Uzbekistan, especially, continues to strengthen its overall cybersecurity maturity, while Kazakhstan has developed an advanced national cyber incident response ecosystem alongside comprehensive critical infrastructure protection initiatives.
Myroslav Bondar, Director of the B1 Department, BAKOTECH
“We note that customers are increasingly looking for comprehensive approaches to ensuring cyber resilience rather than individual security solutions. Interest continues to grow in platforms that integrate preventive protection, security monitoring, analytics, vulnerability management, and automated incident response.
For partners, new opportunities arise from developing expertise in areas such as Extended Detection and Response (XDR), SOC development and automation, protection of operational technology environments (OT & IoT Security), the use of AI to enhance security, and ensuring the security of AI tools themselves. It is precisely this comprehensive approach to security that is becoming the foundation of clients’ strategic projects.”
5. Partners who combine technology and expertise reap the greatest benefits
Nearly every trend discussed during Partner Summits 2026 points to the same conclusion: customers are finding it increasingly difficult to assess risks, select the right technologies, and build long-term digital transformation strategies on their own.
As a result, the role of the channel partner is evolving. Today’s market demands more than technology providers. It needs trusted advisors, consultants, and systems integrators who can help organizations make informed technology decisions and achieve measurable business outcomes. For partners, this creates opportunities to expand professional services, deepen technical expertise, and build stronger, long-term customer relationships.
