Network Monitoring Dashboards

The preconfigured and customizable dashboards let users discover and map the infrastructure components and create action policies for SLAs. They help see, predict, and detect network issues, understand its interconnections, and resolve issues faster.

WhatsUp Gold also includes a configurable Network Operations Center (NOC) Viewer that automatically cycles through multiple data screens to provide end-to-end visibility of current and potential network issues.

Automated Network Device Discovery

WhatsUp Gold automatically discovers all devices on a network and generates its detailed topology maps. It uses SNMP to query each device for detailed inventory information for hardware monitoring. It collects and reports on device type, vendor, serial number, firmware and hardware revision, and installed modules.

Custom Network Mapping Tool

WhatsUp Gold network maps are interactive workspaces that allow you to create a vision of your network – to see and manage it the way you want. Use overlays to visualize your wireless and virtual infrastructure. Turn on device dependency to quickly spot problems and understand how they will cascade through your network.

Real-Time Alerts

The Alert Center displays network performance monitoring alerts from WhatsUp Gold and its add-ons on a single dashboard. It allows you to customize notifications about anything that can compromise a network’s performance, so you can fix issues before users notice. You can also prioritize the response strategy to automatically send the right types of alerts to the right people.
